Camella has been playing with fibre and textiles since she was 7 years old when her grandmother
taught her to knit. Over the years, she has developed a depth of skills and understanding in sewing,
knitting, felting, spinning, weaving and hand-dying (one skill wasn’t enough for her!), giving her
unique insight into how fibre, in its different forms, can be fashioned. She has since turned that passion
into Vernon’s local yarn shop, A Twist of Yarn a local hand-dyed yarn company, Colour Adventures, where she loves helping people on their fibre journey and building their skills to becoming successful and confident fibre artists.
