Picture yourself on the 24-acre main campus of the Sorrento Centre in one of the most beautiful parts of Canada for the fall and winter: be part of an intentional community, join with other youth and journey together.
Calling youth aged 18 to 30 - this is your chance for personal growth, community-building and an incredible opportunity to set a path for your life ahead.
WYLD includes self-discovery, community service, spiritual formation, worship and so much more.
Here are some practical details for the youth who join WYLD:
Since 1963, the Sorrento Centre has been a gathering place for all. Starting in our earliest years, we have offered winter youth programs to engage and support young adults.
Over the years, we have welcomed everyone from children to seniors to events and activities throughout the year.
WYLD is a 21st century update on a long and successful history of youth programming at the Sorrento Centre.

Franciscan scholar Leonard Desroches, a dedicated peace and environmental advocate, brings the words and life of the medieval saint Francis into the twenty-first century.
Throughout the Labour Day weekend, Leonard will introduce the group to Francis and Clare, focusing on love of enemy, love of earth, power + fear + anger, as well as 'perfect joy'.
There will be a special screening of the amazing documentary 'The Sultan and the Saint', which tells the story of Francis's meeting with the Sultan of Egypt - a powerful interfaith connection.
Cost of the weekend: $200 + meals and accommodation.

Every Thanksgiving weekend, the Sorrento Centre invites our Associates - our most valued voluteers and members - to join us for a time of work and study.
This year, Katherine Murray will be leading us through a prayerful time, interspersed with practical tasks around our main campus and natural farm, as we prepare our lands and buildings for the winter season.
There is no program cost for paid-up Associates, but this year we are asking our Associates to cover the cost of their meals and accommodation, as our revenues from earned income are substantially down due to COVID-19 losses in the spring, summer and fall.
Associates may apply for a partial or full subsidy to cover their costs.
