This event will be held over two days, May 8 - 9, 2020.
The artisan showcase will span over three days and included will be other activities such as Lehal games, storytelling, traditional crafts workshops, a fashion show, Secwepemc language workshops, a traditional community supper, and wellness and traditional medicine workshops. The Secwepemc Lakes Tourism team has decided that they want this event to not only showcase the artisans and their work but to provide a place where the Indigenous stories and culture can be shared. This event will enable the Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities to celebrate, engage, and learn about each other and their desire to share their craft and their community.
