** Three special, engaging on-line sessions at 9 am and 11 am and 1 pm (Pacific) **
Join Bishop Lynne McNaughton, Diocese of Kootenay, as we enter into a special time at the start of Advent 2020. The season of Advent: Waiting carries new meaning as we enter a winter of pandemic. Scripture readings of the season sound a note of alarm and lament for Creation, and yet turn us again to promises of restoration of earth and human community. Using the theme of pilgrimage as a lens for tending to holy space, we will journey through the Advent themes that resonate with our lives today.
Join all three on-line sessions: 9 am, 11 am and 1 pm. Each session will start with a short presentation from Bishop Lynne, an opportunity for engagement, and then a chance for reflection before the next session. Each session builds from the previous session - please plan to join all three.
Bring: your favourite Bible, your journal, a box of pencil crayons, an active mind and an open heart.
