During this time of retreat, we will share space with those who wait on the coming of Christ. Through prayer and meditation, through the poetry of Rowan Williams and Malcolm Guite, through art and music, we will make space for the coming of Christ afresh in our lives. Making space could also mean putting something down that is getting in the way of our prayers. Think about it, when Mary gave room to God, her humanity blossomed into its fullest glory. When we learn to give God room, we start to realize that what has to be cleared away to make room for God isn’t our real humanity, but all that has stopped us being human, all that makes us less than we could be. Please come and be still so that you may be refreshed and consider the fullness of all that God desires for you.
